Has anybody received an email to get a job with Lugano Turismo out of Switzerland. They hired me, but I have yet to find out what my job duties will be, but they want a bank account number (for wire transfers) my drivers license number, and the limit that my bank can receive in deposits and wire transfers.
Everything I have received including a employment agreement seems legit. But, I am wary of giving bank and drivers lic info. I do not know who to go to for verification. The website for Lugano is quite impressive, but the people who sent me an email could have just cut and pasted the logo on their materials. Any info would be appreciated. |

Please do not - DO NOT - send this company any of your private information or bank account numbers. It's a SCAM!
No reputable company would ever hire you in this way. Yes, their webpage looks impressive. But you don't know who's sending you the email. It may be coming from Africa or wherever. I am going to give you and anyone else reading this some very good advice: 1) NEVER send your private information or bank account numbers to a company that claims to be hiring you. 2) Whatever FEES they try to charge you, are non-existent. They're just thieves stealing your money. 3) If you ever get the impulse to send money to such people, STOP and IMMEDIATELY SEEK ADVICE BEFORE DOING SO! Just remember. Nothing is free and NO ONE (except for maybe your mother) is ever going to give you anything or do you any favors that costs them money. Unfortunately, the world is FULL of liars and scammers who will rob you and leave you bleeding in the streets. Don't be a fool! Don't be a victim! |
