I was messaged last night from a yahoo chat room about a person claiming to be a represenative from Llynfi Textile Company. He or she claimed that all I had to do was give my address, name, phone number, and age and that I would reciave a payment weekly from a customer. When I did, I was to cash it and take 10% for my troubles. I'm wondering is this legit or a fraud? Unfortunatly I already signed up ><. You can google the site and check it out, looks legit to me.

@david88. Sounds nice doesn't it! All you have to do is to bank a few cheques and take your cut!
Until that is, you get a call from the bank telling you that the cheque is either forged or stolen and can they have the money back please. Then to top off your day, you get a call from the police asking why you are banking a forged instrument and this offense carries penalties of up to fifteen years in jail! And the scammer has picked up the money you sent him via western union or money gram so he cannot be traced and is now planning another scam . the best thing is to stop ALL contact with these scammers . If you are in the states and receive a cheque or money order take them along with the envelope and hard copies to your postmaster, as they now handle these types of fraud . If you are not in the states then take them to your local police and lodge a report. You can do a search about the scam here: Llynfi Textile Scam - Google Search
