Default Nokia Lottery?

@lavor3. Welcome to 419legal, If you posted more information we could check it out for you. A copy of the email with headers would be good to work with.

There are probably a few million "Alan Peterson" on the internet, so it would help if we had some information to narrow the search down a little.

If the email is similar to the one above kindly posted by Scamfighter, or it says you have won a lottery, then it is a scam.

Hello Everyone,

Posted below, you will find the email I received today, to add to the forum and assist herein. It is most likely another version of the scam and would also include the usual phishing scam.

Additionally, I did not email them, as the email stated. The email gave a nokia address with a reply address to yahoo. Please advise.

Default Yup, another scam.

Yes it is a scam. Nokia do NOT run lotteries like this and do not use a free email service .
It is an attempt to steal your identity . and you would be asked for up front 'fees' before you could receive this imaginary money.
