Today it is an open forum where members can discuss everything from potential scams to suspicious or fraudulent looking emails (including those 419 emails that were are original focus). Default Is this is a Fraud E-mail.......................


Respected Sir,
I am new to the site.I want you to solve this problem of mine.Following are details.

This is regard to the email-id which came to me from this e-mail id:
sachsen2007lotto@aol.co.uk

This e-mail id came to me on 13 June 2007.

In which I was surprised that I have won prize money nor though I
have applied or played any game. I was just searching my e-mails for jobs.

Then on 14 June 2007 I got another mail from this mail id
"Sachsen Lotto-GmbH" info_gray@yahoo.co.uk

While talking on a phone with my friend which gave me your e-mail id
that you are searching for frauds e-mails.

Sir I will be thankful to you if you let me know about this thing.

Looking forward for your reply.

Dear Sir,
I am new memeber and I dont know which is a scam I received mail from Msn /Yahoo Lottery incorporation informing me that I have won looterry I want to know that if this type of scams can be made by Yahoo also please inform me on my e mail

Welcome to this forum

Read in main page of this forum an article "some useful advices" it will help you.
Also I suggest to read instructions how to post scam letters.
You may find theese articles using also the "search" tool of this page.

Both mails are scam mails. DO NOT ANSWER or try to contact scams before you read an article with title "Dangers from 419 Nigerian Scams"

Pretty much any Lottery or other scam email will have a yahoo or hotmail address. All you have to do is look for an official email address first. The UK lottery, or any other lottery, doesn't use Yahoo mail.

Common sence is the key word to avoid be scammed
