Action Aid International - Won A Grant - 419-Legal Fraud and Scam Forum

Got this one this morning. It's a new one for me, apparently not for everyone, so here it is:

Subject: Grant Donation Award

Action Aid International, would like to notify you that you have been chosen by the board of trustees as one of the final recipients of a cash Grant/Donation.
Please contact our secetary below for more inormation and your requirement.

First thing I noticed was the real email addie from jmail.co.za. Where is THAT? And of course, I never applied for a grant, so I doubted I had won one and if I had, it wouldn't just show up in my email. I googled it, found this group, and here it is. Yet another Internet scam. So many scams, so little time.

Please read posting instructions how and where to post any scam mail in proper "Letter archives" using sender's name as title not a general text so to be easy to find anyone else who will search through google or other search engine.
If you are not sure if is scam or not post it as "investigation request".
This thread moved to proper section.

You said to list your home website and that's what I did. I gather my website isn't okay. I'm an author, so there's stuff about my book. lI deleted it. I have a "family home page," but even that has book links. Because I'm an author. So it should be okay now. Marilyn

I looked through the FAQs and everything I could find to figure out how to post a scam letter with information and could not find any specific directions. The site is not intuitive, unfortunately. If this is going to be more work than I'm willing to do, I'll just give up. I was just following directions to the best of my ability, but I can just as easily unsubscribe, no problem. Marilyn
