Dear Jennifer

Welcome to this forum. You have done well and I advice you to always check messages from unknown sources.
By the way there is not such "van Bruce" in HSBC London, and I know personally manager of this dept is an old friend.

Don't worry about him, if you will not buy to send money after a sort time period will leave you, but be sure that you will receive a lot of scam messages from other scams different type than lottery scam mail.
Read carefully the article in main page "some useful advices" and for every strange mail from unknown person do not hesitate to post in this forum an "investigation request" and be sure someone will help you to find out if is scam or not.

Thumbs down lottery scam had me going for a minute...

I got an email from Prince Fordham informing me that I had won $10.4 million in the MS WORD SUPER MEGA JACKPOT. I replied to the email " wow, how lucky am I??? Really 10.4 MILLION???" Next day came the response asking for too much information for my liking. Too good to be true.

Default BabyChan email

I got basically the same letter from Mark Richards. I had a feeling to was crap, so I checked the numbers on the UK's lottery site and they were not winners. I also read where the lottery will not disclose a monetary amount and if it is for real and over 50,000 pounds sterling or whatever they use, you have to physically come to the UK to receive your check. They do not give out cash and you have to verify who you are. I wish the FBI, Interpol or someone could round these creeps up for a public tar and feathering!
I'm sick of the garbage emails. This was the second notification I received in as many weeks.

Thanks,
Scaminator
