Attention: Esteemed Customer from the UK National Lottery Board,

Your payment particulars have been received in this office. This means that you have been officially cleared for payment by the Verifications Dept. at the headquarters of the UK National Lottery. Your Winning Cheque, Original Copy of your Winning Certificate, together with a covering document (Money Laundering protection and Letter of Affidavit for Claims) from the British government stating that the cheque was legally obtained through their National Lottery promotion will be sent to you. To begin the final step of your claims process, which is the shipment of your winning prize to you. With regards to this, here are details FedEx has provided for all UK National Lottery winners. Attached to this mail is our DELIVERY INFORMATION REQUEST FORM (COURIER FORM-HLP). Appropriate completion of this form ensures that your package is not delivered to the wrong person.

REFERENCE NUMBER: REF:IE/9420X2/68 FORM [b]
1. FULL NAME:
2. DELIVERY ADDRESS:
3. OCCUPATION/PROFESSIONAL STATUS:
4. HAVE YOU RECEIVE ANY PARCEL FROM GMC BEFORE:
5. HAVE YOU A PASSPORT OR LICENCE (identification on delivery):
6. TEL: MOBILE:

Vat: £110.99
Income Tax £200.00
TOTAL: £498.99 ($993USD) = 42,567.88 INR

High rate of Insurance is incurred on check (particular), because of the lump amount. This firm is sentient of British Taxes which would be cleared after your courier fee has been made. It would be pejorative in taught that payment should be made before delivery but GMC is giving you guarantee that such parcel like yours takes such procedures. Note that your prize is protected by a hardcover insurance policy, which makes it impossible to deduct any amount from the money before it has been remitted to you. This means that the above charge cannot be deducted from the prize and hence must be provided by you before your prize is transferred to you. This is in accordance with section 13(1) (n) of the National Gambling Act as adopted in 1993 and amended on 3rd July 1996 by the constitutional assembly. This is to protect winners and to avoid misappropriation of funds"

I hope all of this is clearly understood? As soon as I get your response including your completed Delivery Information Request Form I'll give you payment instruction for payment of your courier charge. Send a copy of your Driving license or Passport via express mail or as an attachment via e-mail. Have your ID card in hand. This will be required by the delivery officer on arrival in your country before handing you your Winning Package. Hope you understand this email and its contents. Please feel free to contact me for any queries/clarification(s) Send your response to indicate your collection because you only have 14 working days to claim this cheque and after this period, your cash prize will be deemed to have been forfeited by you and will be reused in the drawings of the next edition as informed from your Lottery Promoter.

Your Faithfully,
Mr. Mark Donald

Default They sent me one too...

Hey I found this site because of them.I got the email and I decided to give them very limited info on me.I even made up an email address for tehm to reply to which they did indicating I needed to use FEDEX for my package.

They slipped up though because they said they had pulled the made up email address as the winnig address when really and truly that account was not in existance for 24hrs as yet.

I decided to look up the name of the guy they said I needed to contact at FEDEX (JONATHAN ROBERT MUIRHEAD) and I reallized he didnt seem to exist. So I then tried to google anything I could to get info on these people and the so called lottery and I found you guys.I am very grateful that I was not naive enough to give them valuable information. They got my name adn country in addition to the fake email address but nothing else.
I'll show you the confirmation emails they sent me...

You were very smart about what you did. That proves that it is a scam and a least you were lucky to realize that.

Red face Rich ten times over!!!

I can relate to everyones emails about the lotto scams. If the scams were true I'd be up there with Donald Trump . Where do these fraudsters tow the line? Just today I recieved 3 lotto emails stating I'd won big... yay...yea right Sometimes they are very convincing but thanks to a botch up one of the scammers had made I finally realised what a sucker I was for believing in such a thing.

Does anyone know if yahoo really has a lotto going? One of the emails sent today was new to me from yahoo. I've added it to my scam list however. I will stick to paying for my lottos from now on. Almost got done for 48.560 Euros...Ouch!!!! uk lottery...

Default scam

It is a scam, if they want you send money or deposit a check they have sent you to pay the fees and taxes. Please report it, and spam it.
