Chase Manhattan Banks are many and include JP Morgan & Bank Solutiions. It is Chase Manhattan Bank that I was forced to pay unexplained credit card billings incurred on my Chase Manhattan credit card of more than $2000. While Chase presumably investigated the credit card fraud of unexplained billings/entries on my monthly statements there was also late fees and compounded daily finace charges added to my credit card. The matter was never investigated even though my employer verified I was at work those days of unauthorized billings and therefore was not in the city where those unauthorized billings arose from. Four months later, I gave up and to protect my credit, I paid Chase in full and closed the account. Six years later, Chase issued and then re-issued 21 credit cards under my name without my knowledge. Unauthorized, those accounts lead to identity theft that effected my excellent credit/FICO score. The Office of the Comptroller, The Office of Currency governs credit card companies and there is no law that prohibits credit card companies from issuing, re-issuing and distributing unauthorized credit cards on closed or canceled accounts.
