same deal. I purchased from proflowers and got slammed by easy saver.
What a shame. I liked proflowers but will never order from them again. If there was fine print somewhere, I don't remember it. If they managed to HIDE a signup in a coupon (don't remember) it is still dishonest, and they still shared my credit card info with another entity. on my card statement: VISA PURCHASE EASY SAVER 800-355-1837 ,PA Terminal: 469216 14.95 if you call the 800 number, they will supposedly cancel and refund no questions asked. It seems they are expecting these calls. I suppose if you don't notice for months, chances are you aren't going to be getting all of your $$ back. Luckily I noticed days after the initial charge. If you've found this forum, be sure to post here and find another, new place to post about the scam! |

You are a lucky one with only an initial charge. Be sure that every post in this forum comes up on the top of resaults when someone is searching about them through google and their method is already known and many people have report them to BBB and or other proper authorities as you can see yourslef from their posts.

Yep, got me too.
My in-laws were telling me that this just happened to them so my wife and I checked our statements and sure enough, there it was on ours. It's sad that buying flowers can be such an evil experience. I can hear my wife in the next room berating them! Anyway, I'm not convinced I clicked anything in the first place to initiate this. We cancelled my card which is a minor hassle but makes me feel a lot better. Ugh. |

I believe that is not enough to cancel your card. Make a complain. Don't let anyone to scam you like this even for 1$.

Yeah, we're placing complaints with the BBB and the Texas Attorney General. EMI has promised every penny back, we'll see.
I've spent the last 2 hours calling and writing everyone I know to warn them about this. |

I just found this website and It's great! I was unlawfully getting charged on my CC by a company called "Easy Saver". Through this website I found out that once you order from "Proflowers.com" and use a coupon, somehow you're giving them permission to charge $14.95/mo. My husband ordered flowers on V-Day and this must have happened. I'm also checking out a company (Rhapsody Music) which has cont. charged us monthly. Apparently they "send" an E-mail & upon hearing no response, they take that as an affirmative! That's like going to a stranger's house, knock on the door.....yell "Hey, I'm gonna use your car", & if you don't a response...take the car out for a drive! What the !#$@^&$%%!!!! |

I ordered from proflowers yesterday and the $15 dollar off coupon came up. If you READ directly above where you enter your info, it says in CAPS:
"JUST ENTER YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS AND ZIP CODE AS YOUR ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE AND CLICK YES BELOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR EASYSAVER REWARDSSM MEMBERSHIP AS DESCRIBED IN OFFER DETAILS" That should be your first clue. Then ask yourself "what am I signing up for to get this coupon?" It says in fine print on the side of the page that you will be charged 1.95 for the first month and if you don't cancel before the end of the month, you will be charged 14.95/mo. thereafter. I actually did sign up for this service to get $15 off and will cancel before the next charge is made while keeping my coupon. It will be nice cause my Mom's Birthday is in a few weeks. You should always keep in mind that when you a getting a great deal online, there is always a catch and you should actively be searching for the catch before you do anything. To those who are upset, I guess you learned this lesson the hard way. |
