just new member I am here and I have tried to get into forums, to get friends to discuss the problems and made also a forum for Hungarians and all those who are victims of e-mail scams, but I do not see anywhere anything. What do I do wrong? Please for soon reply! Hanga
It's very urgent, we are in total debts because of sponsor loterij from the Netherlands and we would need more people to find from being victim by their side, also would like to put on some names looking for, who went away with our money. Thank you!

@hanga , welcome to 419legal, any copies of emails from scammers can be posted on here and other people can see them and know they are scams, This will help people to become aware of scams and hopefully avoid being caught by them .

Excuse, that I can not participate now in discussion - it is very occupied I will return - I will necessarily express the opinion on this question

is 419Legal itself a big internet scam?
 

I am confused. Why are there imbedded links to websites trying to get my money in all of the text of this website? It's Orwellian - The first thing I see when I come to the home page is this:

419 Legal - Internet Fraud and Online Scam Forum

where the words "internet fraud" are actually double underlined & lead not to information about internet fraud, but to a website making money off my visits.

This seems antithetical to the cause of 419 Legal.

I'm not opposed to having ads on the site, but these double underlined links seem devious; they clearly grew out of people's use of imbedded links to relevant sites. Now maybe sophisticated travelers know that these things are ads, but I was tricked, thinking that they must lead to more information on the subject underlined. And I know that people even less internet savvy will be lost in the for profit webpages that open up.

:eek: SCAM ALERT - IF IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEN IT PROBABLY IS [/b]

On scam alert no sooner than I received an sms from a Mr Alan Jones for a UK competition, from an SA cell number with a false email address, claiming I had won 950 000.00 pounds and that a Dr Lyon Elwell, Royal Bank of Canada UK, woud be handling the transfer.

On further investigation Royal Bank of Canada confirmed they have no Dr elwell employed anywhere in the world let alone in London,

:mad: Criminals like this are naive, thinking they will not be easily detected,when they falsify contact numbers and email addresses, make glaring typo mistakes and ludicrous insistance on insurance costs to avoid forfitting prize money.

Be warned this is a SCAM that is just begun to surface in South Africa.
