Here is a possible scam I have run into several times. A guy messages me on my space. He wants me to add him to my IM list so we can chat. He tells me everything I want to hear and then eventually they tell me that they are in Nigeria, Africa for work. The jobs vary from person to person but it’s always Africa and more specifically Nigeria. Then they eventually work themselves up to ask me if I have a Checking Account or Credit Card. They don’t have any cash left or a means of accessing it where they are at and so they want me to give them a “loan”. Of course at this point I always tell them good bye and have a nice life cuz I’m not giving them this information. It really seems like a scam and I’ve had it happen so many times. As soon as a guy I meet online tells me he’s working in Africa I imediatly delete him from my friends and ignore all future messages. Just something the single ladies need to watch out for.
