Kirsten Hart Secret Society letter
Hi all,
I'm new to this, so if I didn't put this post in the correct place, please do let me know.
Anyway, I received a snail mail letter today from someone named Kirsten Hart. She claims that she is part of a secret society and that I have been specially chosen to be part of this society. If I fax back the invitation she sent me, she will send, for free, a 56 page book telling me how I can get everything I want out of life.
I, of course, immediately Googled her. This letter scam shows up on ripoffreport.com and pissedconsumer.com, but I did not see any mention of it in the forums here so I thought I would let everyone know that it is a SCAM. I'm not sure what the scam is exactly. My understanding is that 'she' sends enough of this supposed special book just to get you interested and then you have to pay for the rest of the book.
I immediately caught that this was a scam. After being scammed recently, I have learned to Google everything! However, this could really appeal to someone who is very vulnerable and in a bad space in life. The fact that someone would prey on vulnerable people really makes me mad.
Final point, there have been many books written in recent years about the Law of Attraction or how to attract the things you want. If this is something that interests anyone do yourself a favor and buy a legit book from a bookstore or Amazon, do not respond to someone sending you a letter in the mail.
Really final point this time, if someone is into something and they can't or won't tell you what it is-run the other way FAST.
