Spam Advertisements-No end in sight

Most of the internet users have at some point of time received spam advertisements. From online degrees to miracle cures and medicines, almost anything and everything can now be found advertised by way of spam emails.
Scammers creating fake websites of colleges and institutes, offering masters and bachelor degrees are aplenty. The funny part with most of these online degree scams is the fact that such spam emails are full of grammatical mistakes and typos.
Another type of such spam advertisements include cures and medicines for almost every type of disease and infection. One can find a 100 percent ‘guaranteed’ cure for something as common as common cold and even a cure for HIV aids. There just seems no end to such spam advertisements.
In fact, according to a study 90 percent of email received in a day is spam.
One can only go to a certain extent to prevent such spam emails appearing in their inbox. Installing anti-virus software and spam filters are only good till the next spam advertisement finds its way into our mail box.
Since most of us are aware of such spam advertisements and do not fall for the tricks, scammers and fraudsters are getting smarter and finding new and innovative ways to cheat us. A 100 percent relief from spam is not yet in sight, but the most preferred way to avoid falling prey to such spam advertisements is to be aware and pay special attention to where we are submitting our personal information. Taking online surveys, filling out job applications or simply registering for a free service may qualify us to be the ‘proud’ recipient of an endless chain of spam advertisements.
