FDA censures 25 Online Cancer Cure Peddlers

On June 17, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) issued warning letters to 23 online companies and to 2 individuals for making fraudulent claims about the efficacy of their products in treating cancer. The companies were marketing their products in their websites by claiming them to be effective in curing, treating, mitigating or preventing the disease.
The FDA warnings came about as the products were not tested and shown to be safe or effective for treating cancer. Selling of these products, as such amounted to violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the agency informed.
The products came in different forms like tablets, black salves, tonics, teas, and creams. They were claimed to have been made from exotic natural ingredients like bloodroot, coral calcium, the herbal tea Essiac, Cat’s Claw, ellagic acid, and even shark cartilage!
These were sold online under different brand names and have a flourishing presence on the net.
Margaret O’K. Glavin, the FDA’s associate commissioner, had this to say:
“These warning letters are an important step to ensure that consumers do not become the victim of false ‘cures’ that may cause greater harm to their health.”
In a Press Release, FDA also listed some of the claims made by the companies in marketing their products:
- “Treats all forms of cancer”
- “Causes cancer cells to commit suicide!”
- “80% more effective than the world’s number one cancer drug”
- “Skin cancers disappear”
- “Target cancer cells while leaving healthy cells alone”
- “Shrinks malignant tumors”
- “Avoid painful surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or other conventional treatments”
Companies failing to act on the objectionable practices mentioned in the warning letters are liable to be penalized with seizure of the products and criminal prosecution.

What hypocritical baloney! The FDA has no problem approving meds that turn out to be dangerous. But they are quick to eliminate competition for their beloved Big Pharma. They don’t even need to show cause for their actions. To those people who defend the FDA: Please read an article called “FDA versus people’s right to freedom of choice in medicine - part 3.” WEB site is called heall.com. Have yet to find parts one and two.

Only to the FDA,which is corrupted by Big Pharma control. They push dangerous vaccines, can’t find mercury unsafe, and ignore hundreds of years of medical experience outside of their system. Don’t let them block natural remedies to push their poison. And fight irradiation of produce. Chronically sick = a cash cow for the drug companies.

There are differences between Drugs, information, and using Natural methods to help with the sickness of cancer. Yes, there are a ton of scams out there, mainly regarding products that supposedly “cure”. Keeping an open mind is essential for a persons sanity, when they have cancer, but still need to be cautious.

A few observations:
1. To have successfully lobbied for legislation to classify a herbal product as a drug if it cures a serious condition was a master stroke by those who wish to have financial control of health.
2. Most people are taxed to support a health system that takes away their freedom to research and choose their desired medicine. At best, they have to pay for their medicine separately, at worst it is banned from the marketplace, leaving only expensive drugs as an option.
3. To claim that any medicine is scientifically proven to be safe and effective in the long term is an outright lie. Science can’t prove that. If the body is a chemical factory with thousands of reactions taking place simultaneously, many of them interrelated and most of them not yet understood, then a double-blind placebo-controlled study on a few hundred or a few thousand people over a week, a month, a year proves very little. It may alleviate one condition while the body is able to compensate for the out-of-balance situation the drug is causing, yet it may be causing another condition which will only surface in ten years time when he body’s ability to compensate is exhausted. Honest science is good, but using it to “prove” what it cannot fully measure is false, and may be fraudulent, depending on how it is used. A foodstuff, herb or fruit that has been used for thousands of years in humans, even if carefully concentrated, still gets my vote for safety. It may work slower but can be used to prevent a serious condition from developing.
4. Most drugs are synthetic forms or permutations of naturally occurring compounds. Is it possible to say the naturally-occurring compound is quack medicine, but the synthetic copy is scientific? If it only worked by placebo effect then why was it copied?
5. Drugs have an invaluable role in acute illnesses, emergencies and operations. They should never be compared to health-giving or health-balancing medicine or used as a substitute for them. Moreover ignorant do-gooders do not have a right to outlaw God’s medicine.

How do you know the herbal way does not work, and I believe there is
a place for both. Letting each individual choose how we want to be
treated or help with treatment. The drug companies are money hungry
and don’t want the general public to know that it may not be all there way.

I ordered Black Salve Tonic from TriHerba Marketing and returned the product. I have sent several emails, faxs regarding the credit that should be made to my account. They are totalling ignoring me. This company cannot be trusted

We all live in a yellow submarine sinking fast into the hell hole made by the fools & charlatans under the guise of our caretakers. The deadliest: FDA, the USDA, & the Federal Reserve - doing the biding of the most gravely mentally ill in our society, the avaricious.
Whoever is responsible for this site obviously is most likely grievously ill-informed regarding real healing - the unfortunate conventional thinker who is sadly self-deluded by receipt of pieces of paper and titles for parroting what they have been programmed to believe, allowing them to join the club of the all-knowing and dictatorial. It is sad that society encourages such narrow thinking to the detriment of us all, including the proprietor(s) of this site.
