Angry Oh well, so much for a good idea

To be able to post e-mail addresses your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Please remove e-mail addresses from your message, then you will be able to submit your post.

I HAVE no e-mail addresses in my message. Out of curiosity, I looked up a company I suspected of sending me scam mail. so I joined but after about an hour trying to edit my post in [forum ID removed because I haven't posted here before] and by spelling out "at" and "dot" and replacing "com" with "cum[word replaced because I haven't posted here before]"I still wasn't able to post. By then there wasn't much left of the content anyway. I give up. You don't need my post, suggestions or warnings. If I had been a little more malicious and/or had more time, I would have broken what I had to say into 11 posts, ten of which would have been five words or less describing the final post. Alas, this is as much energy as I can summon. Instead, I deleted the post and the email.

bacchus I've found it frustrating too, that I can't post a scammers email until I have more posts. What's the reason behind it?

As for the site itself - I am incredibly grateful to it. It's a good safety net if you happen to be having a bad-common-sense-day and can check what scam-mail is doing the rounds. It's also a fascinating topic. I love reading about it and am trying to wise up more as an internet user.

We will be correcting this in the near future so that you can immediately post emails upon sign up. Some issues with spam lead us to install a plug-in that had this unexpected effect.
