Action Fraud Launches scam email reporting service

Action Fraud which is UK Government fraud reporting agency under National Fraud Authority (NFA), has launched new email service that encourages it’s people to forward fraud emails to dedicated email address in order to kick out those online scams which claims organization.

People of UK has been urged to forward scam emails to Action Fraud UK’s national fraud reporting agency as result to kick out fraudsters. According to website of www.actionfraud.org.uk action fraud (press release) Action Fraud has set up a dedicated email address where you can forward any scam emails that you receive.

People receiving scam emails are urged to forward them on to [email protected]

According to Chief Executive of the National Fraud Authority, Dr Bernard Herdan who runs Action Fraud claimed this as crucial intelligence and great prevention tool agent which would certainly help out to fight online frauds .The activity will seek to disrupt the fraudsters and close down the links between them and the victim.

The emails received by Action Fraud will be forwarded to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau run by the City of London Police for collation and analysis.

‘This is the first time we have been able to collect and analyze scam mail and emails in this way. Collecting intelligence is the key to us being able to disrupt the activities of fraudsters and target their networks for closure.’ Said Bernard.

Not even this action fraud also suggests series of measures if you receive scam email .
